M7 offers instruction in the classical, or New York, style of Pilates. This method stays true to Joseph Pilates original teachings and uses the highly sought after Gratz equipment as designed by Joseph Pilates himself.
Sessions incorporate all pieces of equipment including the reformer, Cadillac, wunda chair, electric chair (yes, it is actually called that!) and every additional piece of apparatus we can think of.
All instructors are trained in this method, with most graduating out of the Pilates Technique Certification program, that Rachel Lotspeich (the owner of M7) has been teaching on since 2005.
The program encompasses over 500 hours of training before becoming certified to teach, so that all instructors are at their best and extremely knowledgeable.
Benefits to expect from Pilates include increased core strength, enhanced posture, flexibility and alignment. Pilates creates long, lean muscles and increases overall mind-body awareness.
